Our Products
All of our raw materials are sourced in the USA and all manufacturing is done in Portland, Oregon.
Shelf Expressions products are made from solid, clear, kiln-dried Radiata and Ponderosa Pine from domestic renewable and sustainable yield forests. Basically, we manufacture moldings and slats that differ only in length. From the moldings and slats we manufacture over 30 sizes of panels. These panels combine into an almost unlimited number of products. One size panel may go into a shoe rack, a wine rack, a book shelf, a wall unit, or shelving module, etc.
For efficiency and cost control, it is not feasible for us to stock all of the different products in the various finishes. We make and inventory only unfinished panels and "custom make" each order as it comes in. Depending on finish, order levels, and inventory levels, our normal turn around time is 4 to 7 days, usually 3-4 days.
Shelf Expressions products are manufactured to very close tolerances. When properly set-up or "assembled" (without tools) the very exacting tolerances produce products that are light weight and very strong.

Customers should never stand or sit on our products, and never place objects even approaching the weight as shown below on any Shelf Expressions product.
